General Data Protection Regulation

The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) concerns the ‘protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of these data’. This regulation replaces the 1995 data protection directive, which was incoherent with the current digital world.

On 25 May 2018, every organization must comply with this GDPR. After that everyone can appeal to organizations for compliance with the GDPR. The maximum fine is 20 million Euros or 4% of the annual worldwide turnover in the case of a company, where the highest variant applies. As sanctions come into effect when you do not meet the requirements set by the GDPR, it is important that your organization is well prepared. Data Privacy Partners help you with that by deploying GDPR Management and Advisory Services.
